# Design Tool
Once you have selected imagery you can start drawing your arrays on the draw page.
## Overview
The top bar shows you the cumulative information from all the arrays you have drawn, i.e. total panels, kw DC and efficiency in terms of kWh/kW DC annually. Below the canvas you can see a table of each array you have drawn along with all of its values.
## Actions
### Draw Surfaces Tool
Define Surfaces by drawing polygons, with this tool selected you can also click and drag to move the canvas
The Draw Surfaces tool needs to be selected when making changes to existing arrays such as updating slope, changing the panel, adding row spacing, modifying the shading factor or alternating the panel orientation.
### Panel Select Tool
Select the entire surface or just one panel. Once selected, you can move them around. This tool also allows you to add panels to the selected array
You can only manipulate panels in the selected array, you may need to switch to the Draw Surfaces tool to select the correct array before manipulating the panels.
### Undo
Undo last action.
### Delete Array
Delete currently selected array.
### Clear All
Remove all array data from the page to start fresh.
## Array Variables
### Equipment
Each array can have its own panel and inverter type. You can select and modify options for the selected array.
### Pitch Value
You can set the pitch of the roof by selecting values from 1/16 to 16/16.
### Shading/Losses
This is the full loss value for the array.
### Panel Offset
You can set your panels to a half stagger when in landscape mode.
### Row Spacing
Put in a number in inches to separate rows of panels in the array. Perfect for configuring flat roof or ground mount systems.
## Saving
Once the drawing is complete you can click "Finish" to save the arrays and navigate to the quotes page.
